To be clear, it takes more than just adding parts to an 80% receiver
There are precision drilling and milling operations that need to happen before it is complete to add the fire control group to the lower receiver (in the AR platform the upper receiver contains the barrel and bolt carrier group). Just wanting to dispel the notion that you can build a ghost gun by purchasing a bunch of parts over the internet and putting them together. So in essence, an 80% receiver is just a hunk of metal. Caveat emptor to anyone willing to pull the trigger on one of those.
